Frequently Asked Questions

Are reservations required, or can we just show up?

We require reservations for brewery tours as well as for sampling-only without taking a tour. Brewery tour reservations are made available for booking 25 days in advance, while sampling reservations are available to book 7 days in advance. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not required for visitors who wish to visit our gift shop for in-person shopping without taking a tour, or sampling in the hospitality lounge.

What days are you offering tours?

We are open for brewery tours Fridays-Sundays. Our brewery is also open for sampling-only on Thursdays, however brewery tours will not be offered that day. We are closed Mondays-Wednesdays, along with some holidays, company events, and brewery maintenance or construction.

When are reservations available to book?

Tour reservations are available for booking four weeks (28 days) in advance. Sampling only (without the tour) reservations are available to book one week (7 days) in advance.

There is only one spot left on a tour, are you able to add another person?

Our tours are limited to 14 people. For safety reasons, we are not able to exceed our capacity per tour and therefore are unable to add extra guests beyond capacity or overbook.

Why can’t I see reservations for a particular day?

It could be one of the following reasons:

1) We are sold out for that day.

2) There is not enough available space for your group size on any of our available tour or sampling times.

3) We are closed or not offering brewery tours or that day.

4) Tour reservations have not yet released for that date.

Can I still come in if you are sold out?

If we are sold out for brewery tours, you are welcome to try and book a sampling-only (without a tour) reservation if we still have availability. Sampling-only reservations are available for booking seven days in advance. We also have in-person shopping available in our gift shop without a reservation. Gift shop-only visitors would not be able to take a tour or beer sample in our hospitality lounge.

Can I get on a waitlist?

Currently, we do not offer a waitlist for reservations. Our reservation system will update availability if we have cancellations.

Do I need to book a sampling reservation in addition to my tour?

Beer samples are included with the brewery tour. Sampling-only reservations are available for visitors who do not wish to take a brewery tour but would still like to visit and sample our products in the hospitality lounge.

Do you offer an accessible tour?

We offer an accessible tour. Simply head over to our contact form to request one. Accessible tours are subject to the same availability as all other brewery tours, so we encourage guests interested in an accessible tour to reach out well in advance.

Are we able to bring kids or minors under 21?

As we make alcoholic beverages, our tour is geared towards adults of legal drinking age. Visitors under the age of 21 are welcome to visit. Children under the age of 3 are free, while visitors ages 3-21 cost $10 per person. The tour covers a variety of topics that include manufacturing, agriculture, history, business, sustainability, and science that visitors of all ages will find interesting. Soft drinks and water are available for visitors of all ages and is included in the price. As we are conducting tours in a working brewery/manufacturing facility and have active construction taking place, we ask that parents of young children please keep them under close supervision during their visit. Strollers are not permitted on the tour, but wearable or handheld carriers are welcome.

Is the tour pet friendly?

Unfortunately, due to the nature and size of our facility as well as US Food & Drug Administration regulations, we cannot allow any animals on the tour. The only exception is a service animal trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability in accordance with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Please contact us for more information.

Can we visit the gift shop without taking a tour?

You are more than welcome to visit our gift shop without taking a tour! To access the gift shop, please head over to our tour parking lot at 502 14th St. Golden, CO 80401 and let a member of our team know that you want to go to the gift shop only. Our shuttle will take you over to the brewery to visit the gift shop, and our staff will help direct you from there. Please note that visitors who only wish to visit our gift shop will not be able to partake in any beer sampling in our hospitality lounge, and we ask that all gift shop visitors follow the same rules as our tour guests with regards to what items may or may not be brought into the building.

Do you provide wheelchairs?

We do provide an accessible tour option; however, we are not able to supply wheelchairs or other mobility devices. If you are interested in setting up an accessible tour, please go to the contact form.

Can I show up even though I booked my reservation for a different day?

We can only honor reservations on the time and date for which they were booked. We may not be able to accommodate guests who arrive at a different date or time from what was reserved.

We are running late, or our group is not all present. Can we still go?

We recommend allowing plenty of time to get here to arrive in our tour parking lot no later than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation time. We are not able to hold brewery tours for late or incomplete groups. Refunds will not be issued for groups who arrive late or incomplete.

Know Before You Go:

Personal items such as purses, backpacks, strollers or weapons of any kind (including conceal carry) are not permitted on the tour. Prior consumption of alcohol is not allowed and may result in denial of service and/or alcohol beverage samples.

The tour is approximately 50 minutes of walking and does include some stairs and elevators. For accessibility options, please contact us.
