Frequently Asked Questions

RESERVATIONS

Are reservations required, or can we just show up?

We require advance reservations for brewery tours as well as for visiting the hospitality lounge without taking a tour. Brewery tour and hospitality lounge only reservations are made available for booking 25 days in advance. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are not required for visitors who wish to visit our gift shop for in-person shopping without taking a tour, or sampling in the hospitality lounge.

What days are you offering tours?

We are open for brewery tours, sampling, and in-person shopping Thursdays-Mondays. We will be closed to visitors Tuesdays and Wednesdays along with some holidays, company events, and brewery maintenance or construction.

When are reservations available to book?

Tour and hospitality lounge only* reservations are available for booking starting 25 days in advance when that 25th day begins at 12 AM Midnight Mountain Time. Reservations sell out quickly, and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

* - lounge-only reservations do not include a brewery tour.

There is only one spot left on a tour, are you able to add another person?

Our tours are limited to 14 people. For safety reasons, we are not able to exceed our capacity per tour and therefore are unable to add extra guests beyond capacity or overbook.

Why can’t I see reservations for a particular day?

It could be one of the following reasons:

1) We are sold out for that day.

2) There is not enough available space for your group size on any of our available experience times.

3) We are closed to visitors that day.

4) Reservations have not yet released for that date.

Can I still come in if you are sold out?

If we are sold out for brewery tours and hospitality lounge-only reservations, visitors are welcome to come in for in-person shopping at our gift shop without a reservation. Gift shop-only visitors would not be able to take a tour or sample beer in our hospitality lounge. Gift shop visitors should check-in with our tour staff at the tour parking lot located at 502 14th Street Golden, CO 80401.

Can I get on a waitlist?

We do have a waitlist for brewery tour, hospitality lounge visits, and guided sampling experience reservations. Please click on "Tour Information" above, and then click on the experience type (tours, lounge, etc.) and look for the link under the red “Request Booking” button. Please be advised that the waitlist does not guarantee a reservation if spots open up, and availability is dependent on your group size. Once spots open up, they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The waitlist is only available for times currently on our schedule and is not available for future dates that have not been released for sale.

Do I need to book a lounge reservation in addition to my tour?

Beer samples are included with the brewery tour. Hospitality lounge only reservations are available for visitors who do not wish to take a brewery tour but would still like to visit and sample our products in the hospitality lounge.

Do you offer an accessible tour?

We do offer an accessible tour. Simply head over to our contact form to request one prior to booking a reservation on our website. Accessible tours are subject to the same availability as all other brewery tours, so we encourage guests interested in an accessible tour to reach out well in advance.

GENERAL

Are we able to bring kids or minors under 21?

As we make alcoholic beverages, our tour is geared towards adults of legal drinking age. Visitors under the age of 21 are welcome to visit, provided at least one person in their group is 21 or older and is with them the whole time they are visiting. As we are conducting tours in a working brewery/manufacturing facility, we ask that parents of young children please keep them under close supervision during their visit. Strollers are not permitted on the tour, but wearable or handheld carriers are welcome.

Is the tour pet friendly?

Unfortunately, due to the nature and size of our facility as well as US Food & Drug Administration regulations, we cannot allow any animals on the tour. The only exception is a service animal trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability in accordance with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Please click on contact us above for more information.

Can we visit the gift shop without taking a tour?

You are more than welcome to visit our gift shop without taking a tour! To access the gift shop, please head over to our tour parking lot at 502 14th St. Golden, CO 80401 and let a member of our team know that you want to go to the gift shop only. Our shuttle will take you over to the brewery to visit the gift shop, and our staff will help direct you from there. Please note that visitors who only wish to visit our gift shop will not be able to partake in any beer sampling in our hospitality lounge, and we ask that all gift shop visitors follow the same rules as our tour guests with regards to what items may or may not be brought into the building.

Do you provide wheelchairs?

We do provide an accessible tour option; however, we are not able to supply wheelchairs or other mobility devices. If you are interested in setting up an accessible tour, please go to the contact form.

Do you offer large group tours?

Unfortunately, we do not book large group tours in advance. Large groups are welcome to book any publicly available tours when they go on sale on our website. Capacity limits per tour apply, and larger groups may need to split up between tour times. We cannot take group tour requests that fall outside of our regular hours or tour schedule.

Can I show up even though I booked my reservation for a different day?

We can only honor reservations on the time and date for which they were booked. We may not be able to accommodate guests who arrive at a different date or time from what was reserved.

Do you do private events?

Unfortunately, our facilities are not available to rent for private, non-company events. We highly encourage anyone looking to host an event in Golden to patronize some of our outside local businesses with event space.

We are running late, or our group is not all present. Can we still go?

Visitors should plan to arrive at our tour parking in Golden lot no later than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled reservation time. We will not delay brewery tours for late arrivals or incomplete groups. Cancellations, and rescheduling requests must be made no later than 24 hours in advance in order to receive a refund for the ticket price and tax, less the non-refundable service fee. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability. Visitors who are not present at their scheduled start time will not be eligible for a refund. We will not reschedule reservations for late arrivals, no-shows, or incomplete groups.

Know Before You Go:

Personal items such as purses, backpacks, strollers or weapons of any kind (including conceal carry) are not permitted on the tour. Prior consumption of alcohol is not allowed and may result in denial of service and/or alcohol beverage samples.

The tour is approximately 50 minutes of walking and does include some stairs and elevators. For accessibility options, please contact us.
